Have you heard the name of “Ebisu”? Some people might think of Japanese beer:) Beer company is using this name on their product, but Ebisu is name of the Japanese god.
Ebisu is one of the Seven gods of good fortune. Ebisu always carry fishing pole on the right hand and alfonsino (fish) on his left hand. He stands for success of business.
My family is running house building business.
Every year of October 20th, business owners put offerings on the alter to make a wish. This is how we did in this year.
Tokyo celebrate Ebisu-kou on October 20th, but our home town celebrate on November 20th. Depend on the home town tradition, people celebrate either October or November. My home town locate Kanagawa prefecture which is next to Tokyo prefecture.
As you know Japanese economy is not good, so we wish to have constant business to Ebisu.
